This photo was taken of the United Flight 93 and Pentagon Memorial for those who perished on September the eleventh. The stone is actual stone taken from the collapsed wall from the Pentagon after the plane crashed into it. World Trade Center Memorial
This photo was taken the day of the World Trade Center Memorial unveiling in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, Maryland. An original piece of steel structure sits on top of a marble slab which lists the name of Marylanders who perished in the tragedy. Innocent Hands
This was another photo that was taken during the project with Zach Risso during the summer of 2011. The point of this was to focus on a word that had a synonym for fold. I chose to explore the idea of doing origami and having it sit on a rather intricate pattern or in someone’s hands. Nole Asleep
In this photo, I tried to focus on the textures around him while keeping his face crisp and clear. For the most part, I’m very satisfied with the way this photo turned out. I was able to capture all the intricate designs in his coat along with the intricately woven leather of the bag that he is asleep on. This photo is “raw” in that the only I did was convert it to a browser friendly format- this is all camera, baby.
Rockford Cemetary
This photo was taken at cemetery at a church in Rockford, Alabama (which is right off US 231 southbound like you are heading towards Wetumpka, Alabama, in case you are ever in the area). The beauty of the place was that it was quiet and remote. This photo was taken as part of a weekly photo project I did with Zach Risso during the summer of 2011 to kill time until he came down to visit.
